Another week, another fantastic lineup of live music hitting the Leeds scene. Whether you're looking to start your week with some fresh sounds, get lost in the weekend buzz, or discover something new, there's plenty to keep your ears happy.
This Week's Picks
Kicking off the week, Monday, 27 April 2026, sees Pictish Trail bringing their unique sound to The Attic, a great way to ease into the week. Over at Oporto on Tuesday, 28 April 2026, you can catch Lizzie Reid for what promises to be an intimate set. If you're after something a bit more experimental, the Brudenell Social Club is hosting MILKWEED on Tuesday, 28 April 2026, whose "slacker-trad" sound is certainly intriguing. For those who appreciate a bit of genre-bending, KNATS are bringing their "Geordie Jazz" to Hyde Park Book Club on Wednesday, 29 April 2026, and the legendary Flowdan is set to shake up Belgrave Music Hall the same night.
As we head towards the weekend, Thursday, 30 April 2026, offers a diverse range of options. The Belgrave Music Hall is hosting The Belgrave House Band performs Abba's Gold, which sounds like a perfect, feel-good way to spend an evening. Meanwhile, Oporto has Tapwater Records Filtered Vol. 3, a chance to discover some emerging talent.
The weekend is looking particularly strong. On Friday, 1 May 2026, Brudenell Social Club is hosting both BARR BROTHERS and TREEBOY & ARC, offering a double dose of compelling music. If you're a fan of punk, then NØFX V RANCID at Project House is an unmissable event. For something a bit more laid-back, Suitcase Rags Trio are playing at The Domino Club on Friday, 1 May 2026.
Saturday, 2 May 2026, brings a variety of sounds. Head to Hyde Park Book Club for Ferg's 30th Birthday Celebration!, a community-focused event with a diverse lineup. For a night of soulful vibes, Trevor Nelson's Soul Nation is at The Wardrobe. And if you're after some high-energy local talent, Vertigo and friends are playing at The Attic.
Rounding off the week on Sunday, 3 May 2026, you can catch Landon Conrath at Hyde Park Book Club, or for a dose of classic ska, The Specials Ltd are playing at Brudenell Social Club.
Just Announced
Looking ahead, there are some exciting additions to the gig calendar. Keep an eye out for The N.S.O., a Sheffield-based indie-rock band playing at Northern Guitars on Friday, 8 May 2026. Also at Northern Guitars, Staring At Static and MTarms are set to bring their energetic alt-rock and rhythm & blues sounds on Saturday, 9 May 2026.
For those with a keen eye on the future, mark your calendars for Suede & Manic Street Preachers at the First Direct Arena on Friday, 30 October 2026 – a massive night for rock fans. And for a taste of the future of jazz, The Bad Plus are playing their Farewell Tour at the Howard Assembly Room on Saturday, 4 July 2026.
Further down the line, Pete & Bas are bringing their distinctive hip-hop to Brudenell Social Club on Monday, 12 October 2026. And if you're a fan of classic indie, The Tubs are set to play Brudenell Social Club on Sunday, 27 September 2026.
