THE SLOWEST LIFT
WOLF EYES - Burning minds and wreaking regression since the 90s, the boys from the ZONE are back in town to ossify your orgones via the polluted endtimes sonic vernacular for which they are both so emblematic and continually re-mythologizing. Now stripped down to the bare bones duo of Nate Young and John INZANE Olson, the Michigan wrecking crew will deliver perhaps the most undiluted offering of inimitable slacker-Industrial cold-fire music the mutoid lurkers of Leeds have yet witnessed.
THE SLOWEST LIFT - Sophie Cooper + Julian Bradley ride the glass elevator of neutrino shower ambiance at benzodiazepine pace with shipwrecked guitar and hypnogogic balladry in tow, interwoven with serene flickering tone whisper and creaking electrical thrum.
GLOOMY PLANETS - Local hatchling revolving door desolation unit backward-pedalling a Kranky style noctilucent dronescape through 3am isolationist Casio whirr, anti-matter bass/electronic halogen swirl and mournful violin. Expect tears.
AFTERNOON TEA TIME - The debut Leeds sermon from Hull's miscreant maestro Ken Lau Jin Wei promises to shred your eardrums with all manner of exploding ferrite abrasion and in-the-red needlepoint digi-debris and not without a sense of humour.
